I grew up in Brisbane spending any spare minute of my younger years at swimming training for 2 local swimming clubs and a state swimming team. I worked as a Receptionist/Stenographer for a firm of Architects before marrying my husband Jim.

I have three married adult children and seven grandchildren. A set of twins due in February will make nine. I love having an input into my grandchildren’s lives.

I am a “foundation member” of the church and I love our church family. I enjoy my role as Personal Assistant to the Pastoral Team and love co-ordinating many of the outreach and fellowship events, particularly the Christmas Lights Event.

My favourite movie is “The Shawshank Redemption” and my favourite book is “Pillars of the Earth”.
