I was born at Mundubbera in the Central Burnett region, famous for its beef and citrus industries. I grew up on a dairy farm and am an only child. Prior to marrying Glen and moving to Brisbane in 1988 I worked as a law clerk with a firm of solicitors. I was employed by Westpac until the arrival of our first child in 1992 and within a few years we became a family of five. I rejoined the paid workforce in 2003 as the Office Secretary at SHBC. I enjoy my part time role on the office and feel blessed to work with such a wonderful team. I am fortunate to still be playing netball and have the privilege of being in the same team as two of my teenage children. I love a good book, cooking, watching the kids play various sports, collecting stamps and spending time with my family and friends.
