In Christ we have Resurrection Hope!
What, or to whom, do we turn to make sense of our suffering? And what happens after we die?

Although we will experience pain and suffering in this life, one day these times of pain and suffering will be replaced with eternal joy and renewal.
Benjamin Franklin once wrote, “In this world, nothing is certain except death and taxes.”
As human beings, our time on earth is limited.
One man who had more time than most to reflect upon life and mortality was the man, Job.
In one day, Job lost everything – his children, livelihood and possessions. And he grappled with many of the questions we too have when we experience pain, loss and suffering.
What, or to whom, do we turn to make sense of our suffering?
And what happens after we die?
Job went through a whole gamut of feelings and emotions as he tried to make sense of all that had happened to him. And his friends tried to help him too.
Even though his situation looked hopeless at times, he still held a glimmer of hope that just as a seemingly dead tree stump can resprout, perhaps there is hope of resurrection for mankind.
Living on this side of the cross, we know this hope to be Jesus Christ – our Redeemer and Saviour.
In Christ, we have resurrection hope because Jesus Christ has won the victory over sin and death.
Although we will experience pain and suffering in this life, one day these times of pain and suffering will be replaced with eternal joy and renewal.
Jesus Christ offers us the hope of resurrection.
Believe in Him and be filled with hope because our Redeemer lives, and Resurrection Day is coming!
